Studio Policies

Please arrive 5-15 minutes before class time. This is to ensure a proper welcoming and smooth check-in process.
Absolutely NO late arrivals will be admitted into class. Doors lock at the start of class. Due to safety precautions, respect for teachers and members who enter onetime, and the structure of the studio, late arrivals cannot be allowed once class starts.
We have a first come first serve policy. In the event a waitlisted member is at the studio, they will be given an available spot. Members who are late, immediately forfeit their spot to a waitlisted member.
-
Out of fairness to all of our clients, Pilates Coven has a strict 12-hour cancellation policy. Please cancel through your account. If you cancel within 12 hours, you will forfeit your reservation.

-
All persons on the waitlist will receive an email invite when a spot becomes available.
If a waitlisted member is unable to attend the class, the class credit will automatically return to the member’s account.
If in the event a waitlisted member shows up to the class and there is an empty space at the start of class, the waitlisted member is allowed to take the available space.

It is your full responsibility to speak with your doctor before attempting any physical exercise. As the client, it is your sole responsibility to inform studio/instructor of your medical conditions/injuries, so we can provide modifications to allow you to move comfortably.
Our staff are equipped to provide general modifications for most common (healed) injuries. Group classes are structured to accommodate most people’s bodies.
Group classes are not physical therapy and should not be intended to substitute physical therapy.
While we provide modifications for some exercises to make the classes available to most, during a group class there won’t be individualized attention that caters to a specific injury.
We highly encourage waiting a few weeks to months post-injury or surgery before joining a group class.
If you have an injury or medical condition, we recommend scheduling a private 1:1 session with an instructor.

Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS! We love mamas-to-be and support physical activity pre- and post-pregnancy. While we understand every pregnancy is different, and the demand for physical activity differs, we suggest speaking with your doctor and studio before joining a group class.
Some considerations before joining a group class.
-Have you been physically active prior to pregnancy and able to do most exercises without assistance; such as squatting, kneeling, moving for extended periods of time, sitting up without help, laying down on side or back for at least 5-8 minutes at a time? If YES, then you may join a class.
-If you were previously active, but require a lot of assistance, we strongly recommend private sessions.
-If you have NOT exercised before pregnancy, please speak with your doctor prior to joining class.
Our Prenatal Policy
First Trimester: Able to take all classes and privates.
Second Trimester and Third Trimester: Only able to attend private sessions.
When returning to Pilates after pregnancy, we recommend booking a private session to establish goals and assess how the body is moving, and we highly encourage you to maintain open communication with us as your journey into motherhood progresses.
